Master Coach Judy Irving works with executives, managers and business leaders to take responsibility for their success and the success of the company. If good is the enemy of great as author, Jim Collins has stated, then greatness is a choice. A change in perspective will lead to different choices which lead to different results. Irving describes her process as transformative coaching; working with clients to clarify their greatness, their potential, their skills and their strengths. Then together coach and client strategize on how to combine these with job responsibilities and expectations of upper management or stakeholders to transform this greatness into opportunity and results.
An Alabama native, Irving's first job after college was training military pilots in helicopter instruments during the Vietnam War. Irving has over 30 years experience in the leadership, training and coaching fields. She is also an author and speaker. She holds the highest coaching certification to date by the International Coaching Federation that of Master Certified Coach (MCC), with over 3000 hours. As such, she is in the top 2% of coaches worldwide. She is also a senior faculty member and Professional Mentor Coach of CoachInc mentoring coaches-in-training to tap into their greatness as a coach.
Irving is the past president of the Nevada Professional Coaches Association, Economic Development Chair of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) of Southern Nevada, on the board of the Las Vegas Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow (FIT) and is actively involved in the Las Vegas Chamber's Leadership Las Vegas Program. She was also a finalist in the 2008 Women of Distinction Awards sponsored by NAWBO Southern Nevada.
Her speaking engagements and clients are international and include such diverse corporations as Coca Cola, FOX, Cox Communications, National Public Radio, Kiewit International, the City of Las Vegas and Smith Barney. Regardless of the organization, Irving's audience seeks to improve their effectiveness in relating, producing, managing, and leading. They desire to 'show up' in their greatness in a way that inspires others and increases the bottom line.
Irving is committed to her own 'greatness' through life-long learning; whether its continuing education in her field, attending trainings and conferences or reading 40-50 books per year (half of which are professional). Her latest passion is studying the new research by Dr. David Rock and how the brain functions in regard to prioritizing, decision making, and dealing with change and fear. Judy knows how important it is in this rapidly-changing world to keep stay ahead of the curve.
