"Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage."
Have you ever met or seen someone you thought had it all together? Charisma, confidence, fabulous career, a great conversationalist, home, family, money? You may be inspired just being around this person who seems so naturally successful. How did they arrive at this place of ease and excellence? Perhaps they were born with it, worked for it or studied for it. Perhaps they took simple steps of courage on a daily basis. Sometimes acting as if and always looking for ways to move beyond fear and maximize opportunities. This is the way of living courageously.
The challenges of strong living in today's rapidly changing world call for courage, valor, and resolve. Aristotle believed that courage is the first of human virtues because it makes the other virtues possible. The courage (in French, it's called "la Coeur", the heart) to live life fully, to enjoy and thrive in work and in love is found when one looks deeply within and connects with Spirit. It is in this connection that one's authenticity comes alive.
This booklet is a culmination of years of experience in dealing with the obstacles and stumbling blocks to my own success and those of my clients. To move forward has at times taken tremendous resolve.
If you, too, are looking for the courage to move forward in a relationship, at work, in finances, or a myriad of other ways read on. In the next few pages you will find over 100 tips on how to recognize, develop and use courage to take charge, live more confidently, and make your mark in this changing world. Are you ready?
